Avranches scriptorial museum
The Scriptorial of Avranches is the only museum in France dedicated to the presentation of medieval manuscripts.
Located just 30 minutes from Mont Saint-Michel, it offers visitors a fabulous collection from the abbey of Mont Saint-Michel.
Let yourself be guided by the original and interactive journey of this contemporary museum, nestled in the heart of the old town’s ramparts.
The Scriptorial notably presents the history of the bay, the founding of the Mont Saint-Michel abbey, and the making of inks and parchments.
